Internet Marketing methods include many other processes which can be further divided into sub categories:

1. Search Engine Marketing

2. Display Advertising

3. E-mail Marketing

4. Affiliate Marketing

5. Interactive Advertising, and

6. Viral Marketing

There are many benefits of running an internet marketing campaign, but there some limitations also. These are some of the limitations of internet marketing:

1. Internet Marketing requires customers to use newer technologies than traditional one. So, it could be difficult sometime. Not all the customers/clients get the message.

2. Sometime low internet speed connection causes difficulties. Large flash files are very difficult to download.

3. Customers can’t touch, smell or taste tangible products, so, sometimes it’s very difficult to convince the customers.

However, internet marketing is having few limitations but we can lower down their effect up to some extent. Like,

1. We can take help from other forms of media, like, TV ads, radio ads, etc. to educate the customers about our products/services. We can encourage them to buy online, by offering some discount.

2. We can minimize the use of overly large or complicated web pages, so, that Internet users find it easy to download the information on dial up connections or mobile devices.

3. We can implement policies like liberal returns, free delivery, etc. to ensure that the customers don’t hesitate while buying online.
